A Diversity of Opportunities – Performing Arts
Our musical groups have been very busy in Terms 3 and 4 with a range of concerts and performances. Our String Ensemble played for the preschoolers who were thrilled with the concert. They loved seeing live musicians. Our Training Band performed for Years 2 and 3, demonstrating the various instruments and introducing these students to the possibility of joining the Band program in 2011. Application forms are available in the office foyer.
The long anticipated ‘Things That Go Bump In The Night' concert by CB2 was a hit on Friday night 29 October 2010. The spooky music and ghoulish painted faces added great atmosphere to the concert. The food was fabulous! Congratulations to Miss Julia Zeltzer (Band Conductor), Ms Maryanne Winter and the wonderful CB2 members. The photos below show the enjoyment on the children's faces and the excitement of the concert. Well done to the poster makers, decorating team, BBQ chefs, serving team, set up team and pack away team!
