Management
The service is a non for profit organisation operated by a management committee of parents. All parents are encouraged to become involved in the committee.
The centre is registered for assessment and rating.
Our regulatory authority is the early childhood education and care Directorate. N.S.W Department of Education and Communities. ph: 1800 619 113
Staffing
The national law does not require an educator to child ratio. To ensure our children are adequately supervised we follow national standards best practice.
Our ratios are:
- 1 educator per 15 children
- 1 educator per 8 children for excursions
Staffing consists of a nominated supervisor, educational leader, certified supervisors and educators. Qualified first aid and asthma and anaphylaxis trained staff are in attendance at all times. Staff profiles and qualifications are displayed at the entrance.
Enrolments
All children must be enrolled in the centre to access the service
- Enrolment forms are available from the centre.
- A copy of your child's immunisation certificate is required upon enrolment.
- All current families are required to re-enrol in November each year for the following year.
- Enrolments for new families are accepted from December onwards.
Kindergarten Enrolments
All Kindergarten can attend before school care from their first school day. Children will be escorted to and from their classrooms during term 1.
Kindergarten children with a sibling attending the previous year with a permanent booking can attend after school care with the sibling from their first day, and must be picked up by 5pm during the 2.45pm school day. New kindergarten can only attend afternoon care in term 1 once their school day ends at 3.15pm.
This enables the children to settle into their new school routine and adjust to the school care environment .
