The students work in an harmonious and supportive environment. The school is a modern brick construction with P&C funded reverse cycle air conditioning to provide a comfortable learning environment in all rooms. The school grounds are well maintained with many native trees and shrubs adding to tranquility of the learning environment.
There are over 29 classrooms (the Kindergarten rooms are double rooms) with wet areas and carpet in each room. Interactive Whiteboards (IWB's) are progressively being installed throughout the school and all rooms have computer access. There is a well-equipped Library, a 32 station Computer Lab, a Science Lab, a Connected Classroom with video conferencing facilities and several Flexible Learning Areas available for small group lessons.
Communication is enhanced with state of the art cable networking and Internet connections. All classrooms, the Computer room, the Library and the Administration buildings are networked allowing for easy access to computer files, cooperative planning amongst teachers and more efficient communication around the school.
The well appointed school hall is the venue for assemblies, visiting performers and speakers, gymnastics and dance classes, band performances and rehearsals, parent information evenings and school social functions. The students enjoy using the netball and tennis courts as well as the adventure playgrounds. All these facilities are set in well maintained grounds which are shaded by the many trees and enhanced by native gardens which attract varied, colourful native birds.
