Code of Behaviour has been developed by staff to guide students and to explain School Rules.
Students move from Level 0 to Level 1, 2 or 3 when they choose inappropriate behaviours. Each Level has specified sanctions. Parents are informed of breaches of the Code of Behaviour.
The Code: What It Means
Be an active learner
Be respectful of people and property
- Be polite, courteous and considerate of other people
- Avoid threatening or intimidating behaviour
- Avoid actions that might injure or embarrass
- Leave other peoples' property alone
- Leave all school areas tidy
- Use equipment carefully and safely
Be respectful of our School's good name
- Wear your uniform with pride
- Behave well at school and on outside excursions
- Do your best in school activities
Be co-operative with others
- Follow teacher's instructions
- Help school leaders to help you
- Deliver all school messages
Be in the right place at the right time
- Be at School and classes on time
- Play in the correct areas
- Place lunch order at the correct time
- Avoid "Out of Bounds" areas
Be careful to play safely
- Avoid activities that may injure or upset other people
- Use playground equipment sensibly
Be prepared for school
- Bring the necessary equipment for every lesson
- Leave prohibited materials at home
Be honest
- Always be honest and truthful
- Be sure to hand in all lost property
