Code of Behaviour has been developed by staff to guide students and to explain School Rules.

Students move from Level 0 to Level 1, 2 or 3 when they choose inappropriate behaviours. Each Level has specified sanctions. Parents are informed of breaches of the Code of Behaviour.

The Code: What It Means


Be an active learner
Be respectful of people and property

  • Be polite, courteous and considerate of other people
  • Avoid threatening or intimidating behaviour
  • Avoid actions that might injure or embarrass
  • Leave other peoples' property alone
  • Leave all school areas tidy
  • Use equipment carefully and safely

Be respectful of our School's good name

  • Wear your uniform with pride
  • Behave well at school and on outside excursions
  • Do your best in school activities

Be co-operative with others

  • Follow teacher's instructions
  • Help school leaders to help you
  • Deliver all school messages

Be in the right place at the right time

  • Be at School and classes on time
  • Play in the correct areas
  • Place lunch order at the correct time
  • Avoid "Out of Bounds" areas

Be careful to play safely

  • Avoid activities that may injure or upset other people
  • Use playground equipment sensibly

Be prepared for school

  • Bring the necessary equipment for every lesson
  • Leave prohibited materials at home

Be honest

  • Always be honest and truthful
  • Be sure to hand in all lost property
